This weekend we went down to Baton Rouge for Lee Rainwater and Carolyn Slack's wedding. Saturday we went shopping and the craziest thing happened. We went to the Orvis store so that David could look around and they were hosting an American Brittany Rescue adoption day. So needless to say I claimed one of them and filled out my application as soon as a got home. I hope it works out. Sox (who's new name will be Bluebell) was the cutest, sweetest thing. I hope Bailey likes her new brother. I have been wanted another dog but we couldn't decide or agree on what kind to get. We hated to get a puppy and have it ruin stuff in the new house, so hopefully this will be the answer.
The wedding and reception was held at the White Oak Plantation. The house, grounds, and courtyard were amazing! The food at the reception was also pretty amazing. They served typical Southern dishes like Crawfish bisque, stuffed mushrooms, catfish, pasta, etc. It was all very yummy. It was so good getting to visit with everyone and see some faces I haven't seen in a while. After the reception we went to Sullivan's for more drinks and fun. Then we hit Cane's and headed back to Bill's parents where we were staying.
